Grown-Up?

So graduation from UT is over with and I only have a few days at The School (that's what I referred to it as in my thesis and it's stuck with me). The end of the school year and the end of this journey is distracting the crap out of me. I'm a weird mix of stressed out of my mind, anxious for it to be over, relaxed that there isn't much left, and joyful for the journey it's become. I still don't know what will happen next fall, we'll see, I'm trying not to think about it.

So anyway,

Graduation

To be honest... I don't remember much,  this picture describes it pretty accurately. Our speaker was great, I walked across the stage, and I spent the entire time they spent hooding the PhDs trying to fix mine and my family's reservations for La Costa (who have gotten a new menu, tasty as ever!) After graduation my family, Andy, and I rented a house in Pigeon Forge. I didn't take many pictures other than ones of Andy and my father talking because, for some reason, that was the coolest thing in the world to me.

We went to Dollywood one day. Andy and I upgraded to season passes, they have crazy awesome roller coasters and Beka and Hughes will be a hoot to go with. The next Andy and I went on a hike with my brothers and found an amazing trail near Elkmont campsite. It ran along a creek and had a bunch of surprise super pretty things all along it. I want to go back again but with my bathing suit because the creek was almost too beautiful not to swim in.

One of the best things about all of this was that Andy got me one of my greatest wishes... a KitchenAid stand mixer!!!

I got to finally break it in tonight and went a little nuts. I made cookies and homemade pizza, all while wearing my new, super cute apron!!!

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Andy is the greatest guy I could ever ask for.
